Robert Nelson is a recognized athlete. His skill in karate is significant for his age and growing. A student of Master R. L. Brown, Robert studies the style of Universal Karate Do. He currently holds the rank of Black Belt. Robert begged to attend karate class long before he actually started. With Karate, he has acquired a strong sense of personal respect, and has earned the respect and friendships of those around him, both peers and adults. Master Brown and his Sensei have helped Robert nurture his child’s sense of fair play and joy. This is readily visible in all parts of his life: in tournaments, at school, at home and at play. As he also has an inordinate fondness for trophies, his efforts in competition are always best foot forward and 110%. As he is now in his 8th year of competition, Robert has inarguably shown that he is 

definitely not a flash in the pan.
